Asst Revenue Management Officer - Dubai

Location: Dubai, UAE

Asst. Revenue Management Officer will be assisting the Revenue Management team on all the duties and responsibilities he or she has been assigned, with the goal to maximize revenue for the airline.

Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

• Set prices, update the system and manage fares for assigned routes to meet revenue goals and passenger targets.
• Use market information to make pricing decisions and create plans for peak and low seasons to boost revenue.
• Recommend adding or canceling flights based on demand, cost, and customer impact.
• Optimize aircraft capacity, analyze passenger behavior, and prevent revenue loss due to spoilage.
• Test and customize revenue management systems, analyze routes for revenue potential, and review forecasts weekly.
• Ensure profitability through inventory control and yield management, and coordinate with internal and external partners for revenue opportunities.
• Analyze flight patterns, adjust optimization parameters, and establish business cases for major changes.
• Take responsibility for routes, communicate effectively, and monitor flights in advance to exceed targets.
• Implement overall revenue management priorities and collaborate closely with airline partner carriers.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share knowledge and foster teamwork.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel trade.
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes.
• Expert in GDS systems
• IATA certificate professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in designated languages
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment.
• Demonstrated professional customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
