Power Bank & Lithium Battery Carriage Policy

At Kam Air, the safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority. In line with the latest international aviation safety regulations, the following rules apply to the carriage and use of power banks and lithium batteries on all Kam Air flights:

Key Guidelines for Passengers

Carry-on Only:
• Power banks must be carried in hand baggage only. They are not permitted in checked baggage.

Quantity Limit:
• Each passenger may carry a maximum of two (2) power banks.

Capacity Restriction:
o Each power bank must not exceed 100 Wh (Watt-hour).
o Batteries contained in devices, as well as spare batteries and power banks, must not exceed 100 Wh.

Usage Onboard:
o Charging of power banks during the flight is strictly prohibited.
o Passengers are advised not to use power banks to charge devices onboard.

Safety Requirements:
All power banks must be individually protected to prevent short circuits (e.g., kept in original packaging or insulated properly).

Important Note
These measures have been introduced due to increased safety risks associated with lithium battery devices, including potential overheating and fire hazards. Passengers are strongly advised to comply with the above guidelines to avoid delays, confiscation of items, or inconvenience during travel.
